Moses Coloring Pages
Baby Moses in the Basket
No situation is too hard for God. When you feel small or afraid, remember He sees you, He loves you, and He is already at work in your story — just like He was in Moses'.
Jeremiah 29:11Dear God, thank You for watching over me just like You watched over baby Moses in that basket on the river. Help me trust Your plan even when I feel afraid and can't see what is ahead. Amen.
Moses Grows Up in the Palace
Moses had riches, a palace, and a powerful name — but none of that could tell him who he truly was. Only God can do that. When you know you are deeply loved and chosen by God, you stop needing the world's approval to feel worthy.
1 John 3:1Dear God, help me remember who I am — Your beloved child. Even when the world pulls me in different directions and tells me I need more to be enough, keep my heart anchored in Your love. Amen.
Moses Flees to the Desert
Moses spent forty years in the wilderness thinking his story was over. God was just getting started. The skills, patience, and humility he learned as a shepherd were exactly what he would need to lead two million people through the same wilderness one day. Your waiting season is never wasted.
Isaiah 40:31Dear God, when life feels like a desert and I wonder if You have forgotten me, remind me that You are still at work. Help me be faithful in the small things while I wait for the big things You have planned. Amen.
The Burning Bush
Moses was eighty years old, living in the middle of nowhere, convinced his best days were behind him. God saw a deliverer. God does not call the qualified — He qualifies the called. When He asks you to do something, His presence with you is always enough.
Isaiah 6:8Dear God, help me hear Your voice even in the ordinary moments of my day. When You call me to something that feels impossible, give me the courage to say yes, knowing You will be with me every single step of the way. Amen.
Moses Before Pharaoh
Moses stuttered, doubted, and felt completely out of his depth. He went anyway. That is what real courage looks like — not the absence of fear, but choosing to obey God in spite of it. Every step of obedience, however shaky, honours God.
Joshua 1:9Dear God, give me the courage to obey You even when I am scared and even when things do not go the way I expected. Remind me that You are with me in the throne rooms of my life, and that Your plans never fail. Amen.
The Ten Plagues of Egypt
Ten plagues. Ten opportunities for Pharaoh to choose differently. God was patient, thorough, and unstoppable. When He sets out to rescue someone He loves — including you — nothing in heaven or on earth can stand in His way.
Jeremiah 32:27Dear God, Your power is beyond anything I can imagine. Help me never be stubborn like Pharaoh when You speak to my heart. Soften me, Lord, so I can hear You and follow You quickly and completely. Amen.
The First Passover
The Passover was not just a miraculous rescue from Egypt — it was a preview of the greatest rescue in history. Jesus, the Lamb of God, shed His blood so that death would pass over all who trust in Him. Grace this costly is grace that changes everything.
John 1:29Dear God, thank You for providing a way to save us — not because we earned it, but because You love us. Help me never take Your grace for granted, and help me live in a way that shows I understand how much it cost. Amen.
Crossing the Red Sea
The Red Sea was not a setback in God's plan — it was the stage God chose to display His power. The Israelites greatest moment of panic became their greatest moment of rescue. When you feel completely surrounded with no way out, that is often exactly where God does His most breathtaking work.
Exodus 14:14Dear God, when I feel completely trapped with no way forward and no way back, remind me that You specialize in impossible situations. Help me stand firm, trust You completely, and watch You fight for me. Amen.
The Pillar of Cloud and Fire
The Israelites never had to wonder where God was — He was right there, visible, leading every single day. He still guides us today through His Word, His Spirit, prayer, and the wisdom of others. The question is not whether God is leading — it is whether we are paying attention and willing to follow.
Psalm 119:105Dear God, guide my steps today and every day. When I am unsure which way to go, help me slow down, listen for Your voice, and trust that You will never lead me somewhere You will not also sustain me. Amen.
Manna from Heaven
Manna could not be stockpiled. It had to be gathered fresh every single day. God designed it that way on purpose — He wanted His people to wake up each morning and come back to Him. That rhythm of daily dependence is still His invitation to us. His mercies are new every morning. So is His provision.
Matthew 6:11Dear God, thank You for providing everything I need — today, and every day before this. Forgive me for the times I worry about tomorrow instead of trusting You today. Help me come to You fresh each morning, grateful and expectant. Amen.
Water from the Rock
The Israelites quarrelled, doubted, and accused God of abandonment. God provided water anyway. His faithfulness is not based on our performance — it is rooted in His own unchanging character. That is the best news there is: when your faith runs dry, God's faithfulness does not.
Lamentations 3:22–23Dear God, even when I doubt You and forget what You have done, You stay faithful to me. Thank You for never giving up on me. Help me build a memory of Your goodness so I can trust You more quickly the next time fear comes. Amen.
The Battle Against Amalek
Aaron and Hur did not carry a sword into battle that day. They carried Moses arms. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do for someone is simply refuse to let their hands fall — through prayer, presence, and stubborn loyalty. No one wins alone, and no battle is ever just physical.
Galatians 6:2Dear God, thank You for the people in my life who hold me up when I am weak. Help me be that person for others too. Remind me every day that prayer is real, prayer is powerful, and prayer changes the outcome of battles. Amen.
The Ten Commandments
Rules feel like a cage until you understand they are guardrails on the edge of a cliff. God gave the Ten Commandments because He loves His people deeply and knows exactly what kind of life leads to flourishing and joy. Every one of His commands is an act of grace from a Father who wants the very best for His children.
Matthew 22:37–39Dear God, help me love Your commands rather than resent them. Write them on my heart, not just in my memory. Help me obey You not out of fear but out of deep love for You and for the people around me. Amen.
The Golden Calf
The golden calf was made from the very jewellery God had provided when Israel left Egypt. Even our blessings can become idols when we love the gifts more than the Giver. But the most stunning truth of this story is not how badly Israel failed — it is how quickly and fully God's mercy responded when Moses interceded. That grace has not changed.
1 John 1:9Dear God, forgive me for the times I have put other things before You — good things, comfortable things, things I love more than I should. You are worth my whole heart. Pull me back when I wander, and thank You that Your grace is always bigger than my failure. Amen.
Moses' Face Shines
Moses did not walk down that mountain trying to glow — the radiance was simply the overflow of time spent face to face with God. That is still how transformation works. We do not manufacture holiness or try harder to shine. We draw near to God, and He changes us from the inside out. People around us notice before we do.
2 Corinthians 3:18Dear God, I want to spend so much time in Your presence that something of Your light rubs off on me. Change me from the inside out. Let the people around me see something in my eyes, my words, and my life that points them straight back to You. Amen.
Building the Tabernacle
The Tabernacle was never just a beautiful tent. It was a declaration: I am not a distant God who watches from afar. I am moving in. Every detail — the gold, the curtains, the lampstand, the altar — pointed to a God who desires intimacy with His people. That desire was fully realised in Jesus, who tabernacled among us in flesh and blood.
John 1:14Dear God, thank You that You do not want to be far from me — You want to dwell with me. Help me make room for Your presence in every part of my life, and help me offer You my very best skills, time, and heart. Amen.
The Twelve Spies
Ten spies saw impossible giants. Two spies saw a faithful God. Same land, same giants, same facts — completely different faith. The question in every hard situation is never how big is the problem. It is always how big is the God standing beside me. Caleb and Joshua answered that question correctly. We can too.
Numbers 13:30Dear God, give me eyes like Caleb and Joshua. When I face giants — hard situations, scary challenges, people who seem more powerful than me — help me see them in the light of Your size, not my own. You are bigger than anything I will ever face. Amen.
The Bronze Serpent
The bronze serpent required no special effort, no long journey, no impressive act of faith — just a simple, humble look upward. God made the remedy as easy as possible because He desperately wanted people to live. Salvation through Jesus works the same way. It is not earned or achieved. It is received by simply looking to Him and trusting what He has done.
John 3:14–15Dear God, thank You for making the way to You so clear and so simple. When the things of this world are biting me and pulling me down, help me turn my eyes upward to Jesus — the One lifted up for me — and find healing, hope, and life. Amen.
Moses Sees the Promised Land
Moses did not enter the Promised Land — but everything he did made it possible for the next generation to do so. His story did not end the way he might have hoped, but it ended faithfully. God never wastes a life lived in obedience. Every prayer prayed, every act of faithfulness, every hard step of trust is a seed planted for someone else to harvest. That is an extraordinary legacy.
Romans 8:28Dear God, even when things do not end the way I hoped or planned, help me trust that You are still good and Your story is still perfect. Help me run my race faithfully all the way to the end, knowing that nothing done in love for You is ever wasted. Amen.
The Death of Moses
Moses did not finish perfectly — there were failures, moments of doubt, and one costly act of disobedience. But he finished faithfully. He kept showing up. He kept walking with God. He kept leading even when it was exhausting and thankless. At the end, God Himself came for him. A life of faithful obedience, stumbles and all, is still the most powerful and beautiful life a person can live.
2 Timothy 4:7Dear God, help me finish well. Whatever You have called me to do — big or small, seen or unseen — help me do it faithfully, humbly, and with my whole heart, all the way to the very end. I want to be someone You knew face to face. Amen.
